She loves anything sweet, and is famous for her deliciously tasty strawberry shortcake cupcakes and melt-in-the-mouth macaroons!

Connie comes sat in her own little cupcake. It is made from a soft brown fabric with little circles on to represent sponge, and sits in a pastel pink cupcake case. This has a cupcake print and pink bias binding edging. Around the top of the cupcake is a white and silver star ‘icing’ layer, that has been hand embroidered with hundreds of tiny pastel coloured beads to represent hundreds and thousands, and white pom-pom trimming. It looks good enough to eat!

Connie is made from a beautiful white fur that is so soft, with white felt foot pads. She has long floppy ears that stand up and are lined with white felt too. Her embroidered nose is pink, she has soft cream whiskers and shiny black beaded eyes. Her legs and arms are all jointed, so they are moveable, and her head can be repositioned as well.

Connie is wearing a gorgeous pastel pink romper with a cute cake print. My favourite is the vanilla and chocolate birthday cake that she is making a replica of for her best friend’s birthday tomorrow.

Her romper has little white pockets with a rainbow of tiny stars and hearts reminiscent of the hundreds and thousands she loves to sprinkle her cakes with. The straps are made from a matching print and the top is a coordinating white print with rainbow coloured spots. The leg cuffs are elasticated, with delicate white ric-rac and lace trimming.

She is also wearing a pink hair band, tied in a big bow. It is made from the same cotton as her outfit, and keeps her ears from flopping in her face as she cracks eggs and stirs ingredients together to make fluffy buttercream icing.
